Nature and Cities Project supported by the program “Turkey - EU Civil Society Dialogue V” coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate of European Union, conducted by the partnership of Nature Conservation Center Foundation (DKM) and Eurosite Association (the Netherlands), in cooperation with Çankaya Municipality and beIN İZ TV. The main objective of the project is to develop the dialogue, knowledge transfer and cooperation between civil society organizations in Turkey and the Netherlands on environmental and sustainable development issues, and to encourage nature-based solutions and green infrastructure in cities in the framework of the the European Union acquis.
Accordingly,
1. European Union countries, the Netherlands nature-based solutions and its experience in green infrastructure that will increase Turkey's knowledge and experience.
2. Nature-based solutions to the city and to encourage the development of green infrastructure will be enhanced dialogue and cooperation between interest groups in Turkey.
3. Cooperation protocols will be signed between Turkish and Dutch NGOs to ensure long-term and continuing cooperation in nature-based solutions and green infrastructure in cities.
4. Turkey and nature-based solutions in the Netherlands and in green infrastructure issue and Turkey's EU membership will increase awareness of the importance of:
